Why are you running for an elected office in the Town of Goffstown?

I am running for the Select Board to bring transparent leadership, responsible governance, and forward-thinking solutions to Goffstown. Our town deserves leadership that listens, asks the tough questions, and takes action. I have no personal agenda—my goal is to ensure Goffstown remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family. My background in business, financial oversight, and public service gives me the skills to help Goffstown grow strategically while maintaining its small-town character. I will prioritize smart infrastructure investment, ethical financial management, and strong collaboration between town boards to make decisions that benefit all residents.

What is your understanding of the statutory roles and responsibilities of the office for which you are running?

The Select Board serves as the executive body of Goffstown, overseeing municipal operations, financial planning, and policy implementation. Responsibilities include:

  • Budget & Fiscal Oversight: Ensuring responsible allocation of taxpayer funds.

  • Town Operations & Services: Managing public safety, infrastructure, and community services while taking care of our employees.

  • Economic & Community Development: Creating policies that support businesses and residents while bringing new ones here.

  • Public Engagement & Transparency: Providing transparency to issues and acting as the voice of our residents by listening to their concerns.

With my background in corporate governance, budgeting, product management, engineering and strategic planning, I am well-prepared to fulfill these responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

What do you see as the most pressing issues facing the town?

Based on discussion with town members, employees and businesses these are the items I see as the largest challenges currently”:

  • Transparency & Accountability – Residents deserve greater insight into how decisions are made and where money is spent.

  • Financial Responsibility – Making sure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely without unnecessary increases in spending.

  • Public Safety & Community Well-Being – Supporting first responders and ensuring Goffstown remains a safe place to live.

  • Smart Growth & Infrastructure – Ensuring responsible planning for roads, public spaces, and small business development.

  • Collaboration & Efficiency – Strengthening partnerships between town departments to improve services.

How do you plan to address these issues in your authority as an elected official?  What new ideas will you bring to the board or committee for which you are running to rectify these issues?

As a Select Board member, I’ll advocate for transparency, making financial records and decisions more accessible, including priority-based road plans. I’ll drive strategic financial planning, using my expertise managing multi-million-dollar budgets to maximize resources while maintaining services. My background in physical and cybersecurity will support police and fire departments in assessing needs, providing resources, and enhancing safety. I’ll push for smart infrastructure investments that align with Goffstown’s growth while advocating for state policies that ease our tax burden on key projects like culvert replacements. With leadership experience in large organizations and financial management, I bring a business-minded, results-driven approach to smart growth, responsible spending, and a strong local economy. Most importantly, I will foster collaboration with town departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure staff focus on the right priorities.
